Kevin Durant Possibly Quarantined Due To COVID-19 Exposure
Heading into week 3 of the NBA season, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is currently facing a seven-day quarantine that will force him to miss the next four games. The Brooklyn Nets star was reportedly exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
ESPN reports that Durant will not be on the court starting Tuesday (Jan. 5) in the game against the Utah Jazz. He will be absent from the court through Thursday (Jan. 6), Friday (Jan. 7) and Saturday (Jan. 8) for games against the Philadelphia 76ers, Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
If Durant continues to test negative for coronavirus the earliest that he will be able to return to playing with his teammates will be Jan. 12 against the Denver Nuggets. The star-athlete also tested positive for COVID-19 in May 2020, the outlet reports.
